ESC Lab, through the Suretech Project, organized a mini-symposium and workshop last July 8-9 2022. This was a hybrid event with the venue at Subic Bay Peninsular Hotel, Philippines and also virtually via Zoom.  Two plenary sessions were conducted with speakers from UC Merced and UP Los Banos. Dr. Po-Ya Abel Chuang presented his work on “Electrocatalytic Materials and Design: Towards Hydrogen Energy Sustainability”. Dr. Drawing Putungan also presented his work on “Basics of Density Functional Theory (DFT) for fuel cell and battery applications. A project meeting was then conducted to orient the team members on the current status and progress of the SureTech Project.
