ESC Lab welcomes two interns from MSU-IIT

Both performed experiments on SOFC electrode synthesis in the lab while being guided by their respective mentors, Ms. Christine Mae Macalisang and Ms. Jessa Hablado. Marata and Quisel also familiarized with the characterization equipment and technique used in ESC lab. At the end of their internship, both presented their results which will be later on used in their undergraduate thesis. Marata presented her study entitled " Morphological analysis of NiO/YSZ bulk composite electrode synthesized via glycine-nitrate combustion process with pore former cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) for energy conversion and storage application" while Quisel presented his study entitled "Microstructural analysis of LSM-YSZ electrode on the addition of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) for solid oxide electrochemical application".
